Sustomi make their beeswax wraps right here in Hobart, Tasmania. They are an all-natural alternative to single-use plastic wraps and look pretty good too! Choose from a variety of patterns and sizes to keep your food fresh and fancy and reduce your plastic consumption. They are super versatile and can be used to cover bowls, wrap sandwiches, cover blocks of cheese and wrap sliced fruit and vegetables. A handy tip is to warm them up in your hands before use. After use rinse with cold to lukewarm water or wipe with a damp cloth. Depending on use, they can be expected to last 6-12 months, at this point they can either be rejuvenated (with Sustomi’s DIY Beeswax Wrap Kit), or composted.
